After completing his Fashion Design diploma at Instituto Polimoda, Marco Panconesi, a jewelry designer from Florence, honed his skills at Givenchy under Riccardo Tisci before assuming the role of director of men's accessories at Balenciaga. Despite initially pursuing a career in archaeology, Panconesi's affinity for the design aesthetics of ancient Greece and Rome has become the defining characteristic of his work. His jewelry pieces resemble reimagined and modernized artifacts from ancient civilizations.

Panconesi infuses heritage pieces with a contemporary and industrial twist. He engineers undulating shapes that convey a sense of movement, and combines mismatched elements to discover new harmonies. His hoop and drop earrings showcase vibrant gems and intricate crystal-cut details, while his rings with precious stones evoke the impression of recently unearthed treasures.
