In French, ‘dessein' means a deep intention we set for ourselves. "Our DESSEIN was born out of a combined passion for artisanal know-how, simple geometry and the wonders of nature." 

Keeping their ecological impact to a minimum is a priority.
They do not use plastic; all  packaging material is made of recyclable or compostable paperboard only. All DESSEIN products are free of sulphates, parabens, synthetic fragrances or dyes; they do not contain animal fats or palm oil.

Along with this comes a sincere desire to give back at least some of what nature has given us. We joined forces with One Tree Planted © to replant large areas in Africa and throughout the Amazon basin, working with local communities.
