ABRA, a Spanish women's accessory label, is the realization of founder and creative director Abraham Ortuño Perez's lifelong passion for footwear. Hailing from the renowned artisanal leather shoe region of Alicante, Spain, Perez's upbringing strongly influenced his iconic designs, which have graced the collections of renowned brands such as Coperni, Jacquemus, Maison Margiela, Givenchy, and Kenzo. This catapulted him to the highest echelons of luxury footwear.
In the summer of 2020, Perez stepped into the spotlight with his eponymous brand, unveiling a captivating collection of candy-colored leather bags, pointed boots, and heeled sandals. His designs ingeniously blend references to Japanese pop culture and video games with the whimsical banality of office stock imagery. The incorporation of sculptural shapes adds an element of elegance to Perez's eccentric aesthetic.
